Joshua and Paige Goodnight founded The Woodlands Property Tax Group in 2015 to give Texas property owners experienced, local representation, not a call center experience. Serving clients statewide from offices in Salado and The Woodlands, Texas, the firm represents more than $1.5 billion in assessed value across dozens of counties as of 2025.
Joshua and Paige Goodnight are lifelong Texans with deep roots in Bell County and a shared commitment to helping property owners lower their property tax valuations through experienced, local representation. Joshua began his career in the early 2000s working inside Texas appraisal districts, where he gained firsthand experience valuing residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. His expertise evolved toward commercial appraisal, which remains his primary focus today. In 2013, Joshua earned his real estate license and Texas Property Tax Consultant license and has worked in property tax consulting ever since. He is now a Senior Property Tax Consultant overseeing client and portfolio management across the firm’s commercial and business personal property (BPP) department, including the consultants and support team within that division.
Paige brings more than two decades of experience in sales and customer service. From the beginning, she helped lead the firm’s administration, operations, and client support as the business grew. Today, Paige is a licensed property tax consultant and serves as Residential Department Manager, overseeing the consultants and client service team supporting homeowners and ensuring an organized, responsive experience from start to finish. Her team manages the residential process end-to-end, including client onboarding, document collection, protest filing, scheduling, follow-up, and communication through resolution.
